Giving your marinated olives an update for the holiday season is so simple – all you need is lemons and an orange and you’re good to go! This makes for the perfect party snack, or a simple gift.
- 2 lemons
- 1 orange
- 6 garlic cloves
- ¼ cup Olive Pride Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1tsp dried thyme
- 4 doys Olive Pride Pitted Olives in Brine (you can choose between green or black olives)
Place peels of lemons and orange in a small pot.
Grate any remaining lemon peel and orange peel and place into a bowl on the side
Add garlic, oil and thyme to pot and heat on a low heat for about 1 minute
Remove pot from heat and let stand for 10 minutes
Place olives in bowl with grated peels.
Pour oil mixture over the olives and toss to coat well.
Place olives in an airtight container and refrigerate for 24 hours
Can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 month.
