Olive Pride’s Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced locally in the breathtaking Porterville valley in the Western Cape. It is made from a blend of Frantoio, Leccino, Coratina and Mission olives. The Frantoio olive is a typical Tuscan varietal, with strong green overtones, Leccino produces oil with soft, subtle herbaceous flavours, the Coratina olive produces a rather bitter oil and the mission olive which is more suited to table olive production but produces a delicate oil. A combination of these oils leads to Olive Pride’s Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil’s unique aroma and flavour. The Oil is produced under controlled conditions and is cooled and pressed within hours of picking.
Olive Pride’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil is low in saturated fats, a rich supply of anti-oxidants and is cholesterol free. Besides these benefits it is rich in Vitamins E, A, D and K. Unlike wine, olive oil does not mature with age and should be consumed as fresh as possible to guarantee the most benefits.
The Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil is best used as a condiment and drizzled over warm and cold dishes.

Olive Pride’s 3 leaf graded Balsamic Vinegar is imported from the town of Modena in central Italy, where Balsamic vinegar has been made since the middle ages. This 3 leaf graded vinegar is made using traditional and modern production methods and has a rich, sweet, slightly wooded aroma and full bodied taste. It tastes great drizzled directly over foods like roasted meats, fish, used in warm sauces as well as salads.
Blend of Seed Oils and Extra Virgin Olive Oil

The blend is made from a perfect combination of seed oils (canola, sunflower and corn) and extra virgin olive oil and is highly recommended for hot applications (frying, grilling, stews, baking) releasing a well-balanced olive oil flavour. The product is set apart from other blends due to the fact that it still maintains a very good oil flavour although blended with seed oils.

Manzanilla, also known as the Olive of Seville, is the most common variety of Spanish olives. It is a medium sized green to purple-black olive grown especially in and around Seville, Andalusia.
The olives are packed in 180g doypacks which are easy to open and do not take up too much cupboard space.

Ever wondered what the pimiento is in a pimiento paste stuffed green olive? Sweet red pepper (pimiento in Spanish) makes an ideal stuffing to balance out the tartness of the green olive. After harvesting the peppers they are placed in brine, then ground and mixed with gelling agents to make a paste. The paste is cut and formed into ribbons that look like strips of real pepper, and fed into pitting and stuffing machines. The machines pit the olives, cut the pimiento to fit, and stuff them.
